Stephane Rolland Haute Couture FW16: Arts meets Fashion

Stéphane Rolland’s couture collection was all about mixing between art and fashion. Before the presentation, the designer said he drew inspiration from the Art Deco period along with that old favorite, the Seventies, which he expressed in graphic patterns adorning long gowns. Some came with an element of disco, as Rolland used gilded leather to contrast monochrome jersey and crepe looks, while straight-legged jumpsuits with voluminous built-in off-the-shoulder capes played to his penchant for a dramatic entrance.Gold details made their presence in this collection: Beautifully crafted gold skirt was a statement. The most thing I loved was these sculptured gold pieces added to the chest.Truly aesthetic.s-rolland-070715-gg047 Sonia Rolland Couture Fall 2015 Sonia Rolland Couture Fall 2015 Sonia Rolland Couture Fall 2015 Sonia Rolland Couture Fall 2015 s-rolland-070715-gg681 Sonia Rolland Couture Fall 2015
