Georges Hobeika Haute Couture SS16

Joyous and cheerful like the “Circes de Champs,” the Georges Hobeika Couture Collection for Spring-Summer 2016 is a glowing tribute to nature’s gift of regeneration, spreading its message of beauty across cultures and beyond borders. This collection literally screams spring: There were nothing but Pastel colors and flowers from all kind. The collection oscillated between ankle lengths dresses paired with floral sneakers, fairytale princess embroidered gowns and 50s cocktails gowns. Also Mr Hobeika went for modern couture. A pastel blue 3D floral top with pants stole my heart: An outfit that I can wear every day. And a big yes for wearable couture. Once again, the cape appeared in Georges Hobeika’s collection but leaving his own signature: Floral embroideries. Flowers wasn’t only on dresses, well this obsession extended to accessories: the models wore gold flower cuffs and rings to complete a spring look. One last word to describe this collection: blooming garden
