Ralph & Russo is a brand which has a strong Red Carpet presence. Since launching their house, an enviable number of Hollywood A-listers shined in their beautiful gowns. For this couture show, Tamara Ralph and Michael Russo presented a more contemporary and urban collection: A good range of daywear options accompanied some Red-carpet worthy gowns. The show kicked off with a series of white silk crepe looks, all embellished with topaz, pearl and glass embroidery including : knee length dresses, cropped top paired with wide trousers, sleeveless dresses and mini dresses. Something I would absolutely wear for a wedding is this one shoulder knee-length dress: SO CHIC!
The dresses were also patterned with geometric motifs like checks and 3D squares.
In general, ruffles and feathers took also over many numbers. Personally, I got my eyes over these wrap dresses with a suit-inspired neckline, complemented with a wide belt.
There were some Old Hollywood Glamour vibes channeled through a black tulle strapless gown appliquéd with silk organza and a white tulle ball gown with ruffle skirt which I would wear it as wedding dress.( Ps: I loooove nontraditional wedding gowns).
The baby blue dress with gold foil flowers, all over it, was so simple yet outstanding.
The showstoppers were definitely these halter crisscross dresses: I can’t get over either this beige or this emerald color.
Finally, the bride came up to terminate the show: Alessandra Ambrosio walked in an extravagant dress with a lot of sparkle and flusters of feathers. Personally, I hate feathers so I am not sure about the veil.
