Dior Fashion Show Ready to Wear Collection Spring Summer 2016 in Paris

Guests arriving to Raf Simons’ Dior show entered through a mountain of blue delphiniums shipped in to decorate the Dior tent. Once you entered, you will find yourself in a white expanse of a space: shiny floor and tented ceiling.There was Raf Simons backstage, talking about keeping things simple and quiet: “I feel like doing something calm, calm and beautiful and sensitive and romantic, I didn’t want to embellish. So I was thinking about the South of France—rainbows and the simple things. And there’s a bit of Victoriana: something of that film Picnic at Hanging Rock. Trend Alert: Over-the-knee Boots

 Back for another run, the over-the-knee boot is threatening the knee-high boots status as fall’s staple boot. You don’t need me to tell you that everything looks different on a model than it does in real life. Over-the-knee boots are a biggie. On the catwalk, they look effortlessly stunning and easy to pull off, nonchalantly paired with a micro mini or a floating dress, cut up to the thigh. Throbbing Gristle’s “Hot on the Heels of Love,” the piece of music that sound tracked the Christian Dior show. “ Something more liberated, darker, more sexual “ This is how Raf Simons described the collection. The collection was a mix between dark and bright colors. The animal print dominated the show kind of looked like a psychedelic with a 70’s touch. More of XXL Coats were found, paired with thigh-high vinyl boots

Paris Couture Week

Finally, the Paris couture week ended: it was outstanding. For the next season, it will be all about capes, pastels, midriffs, flowers everywhere, new creative patterns and fabrics.Here are my favorite collection,Let’s start:

1)Elie Saab:

As I’d like to call: The Genius. He never disappointed me.The livestream time was during my school time: So all day long, I was waiting impatiently to see what Saab had done. Each time, I say he reaches the pick but in every new collection he finds another pick to reach it, unbelievable. It was inspired by his past, back in the 60’s, dedicated to Beirut.
