Giambattista Valli decided this time to pick his couture inspiration from the reality of life. He dropped the fantasy of haute couture. Valli cited the inspiration as a girl who is traveling, unpacking and found her clothes from being stored in a suitcase. Ralph & Russo is a brand which has a strong Red Carpet presence. Since launching their house, an enviable number of Hollywood A-listers shined in their beautiful gowns. Each time, I say he reaches the pick but in every new collection he finds another pick to reach it, unbelievable. It was inspired by his past, back in the 60’s, dedicated to Beirut. This period for him was: golden age. (more…)
