Giambattista Valli Haute Couture SS17

untitled-1Giambattista Valli decided this time to pick his couture inspiration from the reality of life. He dropped the fantasy of haute couture. Valli cited the inspiration as a girl who is traveling, unpacking and found her clothes from being stored in a suitcase. All had pressed creases, an idea exposed before into the runway by Alessandro Michele at Gucci as well as Celine and Prada. (more…)

Cannes 2015: All about lebanese designers

Welcome to the 68th edition of Cannes Festival. Well, I am not sure if it was in Cannes or in Lebanon ?! Lebanese Designers did it again: They dominated Cannes’ red carpet this season. More than 15 dresses were signed by Lebanese designers. Personally, I am literally proud !! Let’s hope that one day, I will see one of my designs worn on Cannes’ red carpet*fingers crossed*.  From Elie Saab to Zuhair Murad , From RTW to Haute couture collection , The dresses were FLAWLESS!! Here are my favorite looks :

Blake Lively : Fashion Icon

Remember Amal Clooney when she was our fashion icon for February ?? Well for this month, I was crushing over Blake lively’s style. I have to admit that I am really jealous from this woman. No, not because she is pretty, because her husband is RYAN RENOLDS ! Are you crying like me ? Now seriously talking this woman is incredible: After her pregnancy, she appeared with a killing body and mind blowing looks. Her choices were just astonishing. Today, I will be bringing to you her latest look in April month.

SAG awards 2015: Love it or Hate it ?

While the entire world is busy with the Paris couture week, I decided to give a review about last night event: SAG awards. Generally, there wasn’t many surprising looks as well as for the bad looks. But there was a lot of boring looks: very simple dresses, nothing impressive. Let’s start with my favorites:

Love it:

1) Lupita Nyong’o in Elie Saab : For the golden globes, I was really disappointed because lupita’s look wasn’t in my favorites. Although,I love lupita’s style a lot . I guess, this time, she made up the right decision when she decided to wear a dress from Elie Saab. Personally, I have never disliked a dress from the genius Elie Saab, specifically this dress which was one of my favorites from the Prefall Collection: The colors are gorgeous and suits her same as for the cut.All over, She looked like a queen. lupita-nyongo-sag-awards-red-carpet-20152)Jennifer Aniston in John Galliano: This woman never gets old,she always looks young and fresh. What I love about her look is the color of the dress: It suits her perfectly with those green eyes and blonde hair. I also loved the sexy cut on the chest and the necklace or body chain ( not sure) that she added. Really amazing.jennifer-aniston-sag-awards-red-carpet-20153)Julianna Moore in Givenchy: Starting off with the dress’s color: Emerald green, absolutely stunning, its one of my favorite colors and it really suits her. Loved the pearl embroidered details and  the piece of sheer at the end .Julianne-Moore-sag-awards-red-carpet-20154)Emma Stone in Dior : Again, Emma is one of my best dressed. I really love the jacket and the sheer mermaid tail. Her hairstyle was on point: The ponytail adds to the look a lot of elegance, also her bold red lipstick. Can you spot her gorgeous ear cuffs ?emma-stone-sag-awards-red-carpet-20155) Sofia Vergara in Donna Karan: She never fails at looking sexy.Although, she always wear red but i think it suits her a lot but maybe she needs to try a new color. All over: Simple & Sexy sofia-vergara-sag-awards-red-carpet-20156)Reese Witherspoon in Giorgio Armani: After bringing the Hollywood glamour at the Golden Globes, Reese went this time for a simple white dress from G.A. It is perfect for her body shape, loved the side shoulder cut. She also adapts a low ponytail. So simple. reese-witherspoon-sag-awards-red-carpet-2015 Hate it :

1)Rosemund Pike in Dior :Although, she picked a Dior dress but it wasn’t the right choice. I don’t know how to describe it but it is really ugly.rosamund-pike-sag-awards-red-carpet-20152) Amanda Peet in J.Mendel: I wasn’t expecting such a boring look by her. Everything about this dress is awful: colors, fabric and cut. As well as for the hairstyle: maybe if she didn’t went for a bun , the look would be better. amanda-peet-sag-awards-red-carpet-20153)Julianna Margulies in Giambattista Valli : I can admit that the color is absolutely stunning, but the cut is really awkward and weird , I didn’t like it. I also disliked her hair and her shoes. Julianna-margulies-sag-awards-red-carpet-20154) Laverne Cox in Johanna Johson: First, the dress’s color doesn’t match neither her skin tone or her hair’s color. This cut in the middle is awful, like it has been ripped and the silver details are extremely ugly.
