After adopting an exaggerated theme and décor in so many shows, Karl Lagerfeld kept it calm. . There was neither immersive set nor overt theme. In fact, it was a mirrored circular runway inspired by the famed Art Deco mirrors of Coco Chanel’s stairs at her atelier on the Rue Cambon. (more…)
We all know that Christmas is everyone’s favorite time of the year. It’s when all the family is reunited and we are busy getting presents, preparing for dinner and decorating. And definitely the main reason of this happiness is the birth of Jesus Christ. If you don’t know already, I am Muslim but my mother is Christian. And yes we do celebrate Christmas not only because it is celebration relative to my mom’s religion. (more…)

While the entire world is busy with the Paris couture week, I decided to give a review about last night event: SAG awards. Generally, there wasn’t many surprising looks as well as for the bad looks. But there was a lot of boring looks: very simple dresses, nothing impressive. Let’s start with my favorites:
1) Lupita Nyong’o in Elie Saab : For the golden globes, I was really disappointed because lupita’s look wasn’t in my favorites. Although,I love lupita’s style a lot . I guess, this time, she made up the right decision when she decided to wear a dress from Elie Saab. Personally, I have never disliked a dress from the genius Elie Saab, specifically this dress which was one of my favorites from the Prefall Collection: The colors are gorgeous and suits her same as for the cut.All over, She looked like a queen. 2)Jennifer Aniston in John Galliano: This woman never gets old,she always looks young and fresh. What I love about her look is the color of the dress: It suits her perfectly with those green eyes and blonde hair. I also loved the sexy cut on the chest and the necklace or body chain ( not sure) that she added. Really amazing.3)Julianna Moore in Givenchy: Starting off with the dress’s color: Emerald green, absolutely stunning, its one of my favorite colors and it really suits her. Loved the pearl embroidered details and the piece of sheer at the end .4)Emma Stone in Dior : Again, Emma is one of my best dressed. I really love the jacket and the sheer mermaid tail. Her hairstyle was on point: The ponytail adds to the look a lot of elegance, also her bold red lipstick. Can you spot her gorgeous ear cuffs ?5) Sofia Vergara in Donna Karan: She never fails at looking sexy.Although, she always wear red but i think it suits her a lot but maybe she needs to try a new color. All over: Simple & Sexy 6)Reese Witherspoon in Giorgio Armani: After bringing the Hollywood glamour at the Golden Globes, Reese went this time for a simple white dress from G.A. It is perfect for her body shape, loved the side shoulder cut. She also adapts a low ponytail. So simple. Hate it :
1)Rosemund Pike in Dior :Although, she picked a Dior dress but it wasn’t the right choice. I don’t know how to describe it but it is really ugly.2) Amanda Peet in J.Mendel: I wasn’t expecting such a boring look by her. Everything about this dress is awful: colors, fabric and cut. As well as for the hairstyle: maybe if she didn’t went for a bun , the look would be better. 3)Julianna Margulies in Giambattista Valli : I can admit that the color is absolutely stunning, but the cut is really awkward and weird , I didn’t like it. I also disliked her hair and her shoes. 4) Laverne Cox in Johanna Johson: First, the dress’s color doesn’t match neither her skin tone or her hair’s color. This cut in the middle is awful, like it has been ripped and the silver details are extremely ugly.
Which one was your best look ? Worst look?
Anddd Finally, the sunny weather is kinda back through its still cold. But who cares? The most important is that I was able to shoot new outfits. As you probably saw that one of my fashion winter essentials is: Poncho. So my grandma got me one recently and I Fell in love. This piece is magical: it turns your outfit from nothing into something. Plus, its super easy to style. Soo my poncho’s colour was brown. I cant deny that this colour is really hard to style it and match with another colour so i decided to keep it simple. So I wore my white shirt, that i’m loving so much these days, simple jeans and my burgundy Pumps. Last but not least, I throw on my poncho.Ohh !! You may notice the fur details on it, So gorgeous😍…And Voila!! So simple yet so stylish.
